Present Continuous Basics
Short Description:-
किसी काम के होने को present continuous कहा जाता है जैसे:-
मैं जा रहा हूं = I'm going.
बारिश हो रही है = It's raining.
The syntax for the positive sentence:-
Subject + am/is/are + verb1+ing
I am going = मैं जा रहा हूँ।
He is working = वह काम कर रहा है।
She is eating = वह खा रही है।
It is moving = यह चल रहा है।
We are working = हम काम कर रहे हैं।
You are eating = आप खा रहे हैं।
They are running = वे दौड़ रहे हैं।
The syntax for the negative sentence:-
Subject + am/is/are + not + verb1+ing
I am not going = मैं नहीं जा रहा हूँ।
He is working = वह काम नहीं कर रहा है।
She is eating = वह नहीं खा रही है।
It is moving = यह नहीं चल रहा है।
We are working = हम काम नहीं कर रहे हैं।
You are eating = आप नहीं खा रहे हैं।
They are running = वे नहीं दौड़ रहे हैं।
The syntax for the interrogative sentence:-
Am/Is/Are + subject + verb1+ing
Am I going = क्या मैं जा रहा हूँ।
Is he working = क्या वह काम कर रहा है।
Is she eating = क्या वह खा रही है।
Is it moving = क्या यह चल रहा है।
Are we working = क्या हम काम कर रहे हैं।
Are you eating = क्या आप खा रहे हैं।
Are they running = क्या वे दौड़ रहे हैं।
