Present Continuous Basic Definition
Definition
present continuous वह sentence होते हैं जो इस बात को दर्शाते हैं कि क्या हो रहा है या subject क्या कर रहा है
for example:
मैं जा रहा हूं = I'm going.
वह हंस रही है = she's laughing.
आसान शब्दों में आप ऐसे भी समझ सकते है कि hindi में जिन sentences के आखिर में
"रहा हूं", "रही हूं", "रहा है", "रही है" और "रहें हैं" आते हैं उन sentences को हम present continuous कहते हैं।
Interrogative Syntax
Am + I + verb1+ing
Is + singular subject + verb1+ing
Are + plural subject + verb1+ing
Examples:
Am I reading = क्या मैं पढ़ रहा हूं/ क्या मैं पढ़ रही हूं?
Is he working = क्या वह काम कर रहा है?
Is she going = क्या वह जा रही है?
Is Rahul staying = क्या राहुल ठहर रहा है?
Is Seema reading = क्या सीमा पढ़ रही है?
Are we working = क्या हम काम कर रहे हैं?
Are you going = क्या तुम जा रहे हो?
Are they staying = क्या वे ठहर रहे हैं?
